Cabarita V neckline one-piece swimming suit with a skirt overlay (PDF)

 

Featuring: Very fitted through the upper bust, bust, waist and hips, full coverage, one piece swimming suit with a deep V neckline and underbust shaping. All options come with a built in shelf bra that is integrated into the lining. Can be finished with a half circle opening at the back or as a solid back. Optional V or straight hem shaped flared skirt cover-up attached to the underbust seam. Comes with regular, full and fuller bust options.

Options for bust (cup volume):
* Regular bust (under 3.5 in upper bust/full bust difference) 
* Full bust (3.5-6 in upper bust/full bust difference)
* Fuller bust (over 6 in upper bust/full bust difference)

The pdf pattern comes in REGULAR, PETITE and TALL with sizes from XXS to 4XL in Regular, Full and Fuller bust options

DIFFICULTY

The pdf pattern is a beginner (3/10)  level and moderately easy to sew.
First bralette might take 3-4 hours. Once you are familiar with construction process it might take 2-3 hours to complete.

FABRIC

Swim fabric with at least 50% horizontal and 50% vertical stretch and excellent recovery for the main fabric.

Whole suit US0-US22 1.1 m / 1 1/4 yards
Whole suit US24-US30 1.3 m / 1 1/2 yards

Swim lining or lightweight power mesh with similar to your main fabric stretch.

NOTIONS

1. Swim woven or clear elastic 10 mm / 3/8 in wide - 5-6 yards (exact measurements can be found in the tutorial).
2. Elastic for under bust band (regular or swim) - 32 mm / 1 1/4 in wide. You can use more narrow elastic, however you will have to adjust the band accordingly (exact measurements can be found in the tutorial).
3. Polyester / Cotton threads
4. (optional) Matching overlocker threads, preferably wooly nylon stretch overlocking thread
